Helping Veterans in Need
The Homeless Veteran Fund helps provide assistance to veterans who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or facing an immediate financial crisis.
Support may include help with basic needs, temporary lodging, transportation, food, emergency expenses and other assistance intended to help veterans regain stability.
Assistance is based on individual circumstances, available resources
and eligibility. Requests are reviewed to determine how the Department
can best assist the veteran.
How to Request Assistance
- Download and complete the Homeless Veterans Grant Application. The application provides the information needed to begin reviewing the request.
- Submit the completed application and provide any supporting information needed to verify the request and determine what assistance may be available.
- The request will be reviewed based on the veteran's circumstances, eligibility and available resources.
- The veteran will be connected with available assistance or other resources that may help address their immediate needs.
