Homeless Veterans Grant Program

The VFW’s Homeless Veterans Grant Program is a national initiative designed to assist Posts and Auxiliaries in supporting veterans experiencing homelessness. Through this program, local VFW organizations can apply for up to $500 in funding to help meet the urgent needs of veterans—whether through shelter, supplies, meals, transportation, or other outreach efforts.

The Department of Washington proudly supports this program by encouraging Posts and Auxiliaries to take action in their communities. We are committed to ensuring every veteran has access to safety, dignity, and hope.
