Complete the School of Instruction
There are two required parts. Complete the training first, then complete the Check on Learning.

Complete the Check on Learning Required
After completing the SOI, take the Check on Learning. A successful passing result is required for All-State credit.
Take Knowledge Check โHow to Earn SOI All-State Credit
The same basic requirement applies at both the Post and District level.
Requirement 1 One Commander-level officer completes the SOI and passes the quiz.
Requirement 2 The Quartermaster separately completes the SOI and passes the quiz.
Deadline Both requirements must be completed by September 16, 2026.
All-State Credit
Who Must Complete the Training?
Completion by only one officer is not enough. Each Post and District must satisfy both parts of its requirement.
Post Requirements
For a Post to receive All-State SOI credit, the following officers must complete the entire SOI and successfully pass the Check on Learning.
ONE of the following:
- Post Commander
- Post Senior Vice Commander
- Post Junior Vice Commander
AND
Post Quartermaster
District Requirements
For a District to receive All-State SOI credit, the following officers must complete the entire SOI and successfully pass the Check on Learning.
ONE of the following:
- District Commander
- District Senior Vice Commander
- District Junior Vice Commander
AND
District Quartermaster
The Quartermaster requirement is separate.
A Commander, Senior Vice Commander, or Junior Vice Commander completing the SOI does not satisfy the Quartermaster requirement. The Quartermaster must also complete the full training and successfully pass the Check on Learning.
