Quartermaster of the Year
The Quartermaster of the Year award recognizes Post and District Quartermasters who demonstrate consistent service to their Post or District, Veterans, and their families, and who contribute meaningfully to advancing the goals of the organization.
Nomination Criteria
- Nominee must be a current Post or District Quartermaster
- Any Post member may submit a nomination
- Written nomination narrative required (two pages max)
- Recruiting activity may be considered
- Award presented at the June Convention Banquet
Judging Notes
Nominations should include specific accomplishments and outcomes tied directly to Quartermaster responsibilities.
Audit readiness, bonding, IRS 990 filings, Secretary of State filings, and District Inspection findings related to Quartermaster duties may impact judging.
