A Practical Training System for VFW Leaders

The Department of Washington VFW created Washington VFW University to give members a clear path for learning core leadership duties, officer responsibilities, and organizational expectations.

Who May Participate?

  • Any VFW member who wants to learn
  • Post Commanders and future Commanders
  • District Commanders and future District leaders
  • Post and District Quartermasters
  • Members preparing for elected or appointed office
  • Committee chairs and members supporting Post operations

How Access Works

  • Commanders and Quartermasters will receive an enrollment email from TalentLMS.
  • Other members may request access by emailing cos@vfwwa.org.
  • Once enrolled, members can access available courses through the TalentLMS home page.
  • More courses will be added as they become available.
