PMI U.S. Veterans Serving Communities Impact Grant

Supporting VFW Posts across Washington as veterans continue serving their communities through meaningful, visible, and measurable service projects.

About the Grant

The PMI U.S. Veterans Serving Communities Impact Grant is sponsored by PMI U.S. and administered by the Department of Washington Veterans of Foreign Wars. This pre-award application allows Posts to request funding consideration for planned community service projects.

No grant funds will be awarded before completion of the approved project. Approved Posts must complete their project, submit required documentation, and provide a final report before payment is issued.

Application Window

Applications open November 1 and close January 15.

What We Are Looking For

  • Community service projects that create measurable local impact
  • Projects led by veterans and VFW Posts

  • Clear recognition of PMI U.S. as the program sponsor

Important Requirement

Approved Posts must register their project with the VFW National Day of Service program and provide proof of registration as part of the final project report.
