The Fisher House provides free lodging for the families of veterans and active-duty service members receiving medical care.
Located on the VA Puget Sound Health Care campus, it offers a comforting "home away from home” that keeps families together during times of healing.
The VFW Department of Washington proudly partners with Friends of Fisher House Puget Sound to ensure our veterans and their families never face recovery alone.

Why It Matters
- Each Fisher House saves veteran families an estimated $2,000–$3,000 per stay in lodging and travel costs.
- Over 15,000 families have been supported at the Puget Sound Fisher House since its opening.
- Guests include families of veterans receiving life-saving treatments, rehabilitation, or long-term care at VA facilities.

How You Can Help
