Bringing veterans, families and supporters together through motorcycling, camaraderie, community service and a shared commitment to those who served.
The VFW Riders Group brings together people who share a love of motorcycling and a commitment to veterans. Our Riders help increase awareness of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, support veterans and their families, participate in community events and carry the VFW mission beyond the walls of our Posts.
Build connections among veterans, VFW members, Auxiliary members, families and supporters through a shared passion for riding and service.
Support veterans, military families, VFW programs and local communities through rides, events, volunteer service and charitable activities.
Carry the VFW name into communities across Washington and help introduce more people to the programs, advocacy and service provided by the VFW.
The purpose of the VFW Riders Group is to support the Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Auxiliary while promoting public awareness of the VFW, its programs and its service to veterans.
Riders participate in veterans' events, community service, memorial activities, charitable efforts and other programs while promoting safe and responsible motorcycling.
While members come from different backgrounds and experiences, the common purpose remains the same: honoring service, strengthening camaraderie and supporting veterans, service members and their families.
Washington Riders are part of a larger network of VFW Riders committed to fostering camaraderie, honoring military service and strengthening communities. The National VFW Riders Group provides resources for Riders, chapters and those interested in becoming involved.
Riders Groups bring together VFW members, Auxiliary members, veterans, family members and supporters who believe in the VFW's mission and want to make a difference in their communities.
Individual National VFW Riders Group membership is handled through a chartered Riders Group chapter affiliated with a VFW Post. If you are interested in becoming involved, start by contacting a Washington Riders Group or searching for a chapter through the National VFW Riders Group.
