Family Program
Families live in their own campus home for one to four years, working with a case manager on goals they set. Life-skills training, tutoring and recreation are part of the stay.

Support During Deployment
When a deployed service member's family care plan falls through, their children, or their spouse and children, can live at the National Home until the deployment ends.
Early Education Center
State-licensed child care on campus, free to resident children, so parents can work, train or finish school.
Family Helpline
Military and veteran families anywhere can call for help finding services close to home: 800-313-4200, weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

The Washington Houses
Sponsored by the VFW Department of Washington and its Auxiliary, our two houses on campus are home to military and veteran families working toward a fresh start. Gifts from Washington Posts help keep it in good repair.
